Creating beautiful family photos is what I love to do. That is, when I'm not caught up in the busyness of life, kids, cooking, dogs and the daily disasters of the domestic dream! (see my blog for more of that!). Having my own family has been a rather unexpected joy in my life... I left it a little late (see my blog for more of that too!). But with only two kids to deal with, I now appreciate the madness that my mother endured with five! That's us in the photo on the right... I'm the little one with the long hair on the left of Dad. Mum was no doubt in the kitchen cooking, or having some 'me' time with a stubbie of Dietale... the low calorie beer of the 70s. I always loved rummaging through our box of family photos, and hope to create a box or two of my own little family's history. Recording the lives of my own children has brought me back to photography and for that I am grateful. Helping other families record a snapshot of their magic, their love and their laughter is truly an honour. So thank you... to my enduring mother, my lovely little family and of course my wonderful clients, for giving me the pleasure of photographing your gorgeous children and families, and for allowing me to show you all off here. It is truly a special, special privilege to come into your homes and share a snippet of your lives. And thanks also for all the cups of tea and coffee, the conversation, the laughter and even a few tears. Every session is just so much fun.
